| The Aberdeen White Star ship Ulcoats bringing immigrants to
Auckland on June 16th. 1865. Oil on board (800 x 600)mm The Ulcoats was built at the yard of Jones, Quiggin & Co. of Liverpool and launched in 1863, so this was her maiden voyage. She was iron and her registered tonnage was 671. She was a small ship but a little clipper belonging to the same line which owned the Thermopylae. |
