Waterfront with the Louisa Craig Watercolour (740x530)mm The view is looking south-east and includes from the right, the street entrance to the graving dock and pump houses with the Custom House tower behind. The Sailors' Home on the corner of the foot of Albert Street. The Harbour Board Building on the opposite corner of Albert Street; the time-ball can be seen above the roof. Next is Gladstone's Coffee House on the western corner of Queen Street and other buildings continuing along Quay Street with the Northern Roller Mills just in the picture. The barque Louisa Craig is being towed out by the steam tug Durham. Prints are available |
